My name is Steve Sawyer, and I've been in business in one way or another since I was 14. Currently, I'm working as a database analyst and business technology consultant. This site is intended as a source of information about areas of professional and personal interest.

I like to share with others some of the things that I've learned. It's one way in which I can repay all the people that have taken the time to help me to advance professionally. Part of the motivation for creating and maintaining this site and my web log is to have some way of continuing the spirit of these mentors. However, I cannot provide individual consulting via E-mail as I'll tend to neglect either your request or other responsibilities to my clients and family. If you have specific needs I will be happy to discuss them and see if we can't work out an equitable arrangement.
